Ever since I can remember, I was fascinated with getting Businesses off the ground, Marketing, and sales. I was always running my own business (from selling T-shirts to organising sponsorship and running Corporate Sports events… all this while I was still in school. 

When I entered the job market - it was clear to me that I would look for a career that was going to challenge me, where I would continue finding satisfaction in starting businesses, growing them, and making them profitable.

After years in Marketing and sales, I realised I could marry two of my passions, namely Marketing and Online, and I became a Digital Marketing specialist – I was then introduced to the new fast-paced world that is iGaming (Casino and Sports betting).

In 2019, I moved to Malta. I didn’t leave my country South Africa and move to Europe to re-invent the marketing wheel but to make the machine work more efficiently and better. 

Today after 30+ years in Marketing and I’ve seen it all (including a Covid-19 world, that took world economies and large companies to their knees pushing the migration of traditional businesses to online and e-commerce). From being a B2B marketer within a large corporate to running multiple B2C online casino and sportsbook brands, in multiple countries, I’d like to think that I have become a master of my trade and gained huge satisfaction in helping businesses grow – I started LAVA GLOBAL.
